Indian Arabica coffee is renowned for its unique and full-bodied flavor, grown in the high-altitude regions of India such as Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. The coffee benefits from the rich, fertile soil and elevations ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 meters, which contribute to its distinctive characteristics.
The coffee features an aromatic profile with spicy and floral notes. Its flavor is well-balanced, with mild acidity, a full body, and a natural sweetness. The finish is smooth and lingering, often with a subtle earthy or herbal aftertaste.
Typically wet-processed (washed) to enhance clarity and brightness, Indian Arabica coffee is harvested from November to February. Many coffee farms in India practice sustainable and organic farming methods, ensuring high-quality and ethically produced coffee.
A medium to dark roast is recommended to bring out the best qualities of Indian Arabica coffee, making it suitable for various brewing methods such as drip, pour-over, French press, and espresso. This coffee is highly appreciated by both casual drinkers and connoisseurs for its rich and distinctive taste.
